Hollyoaks?!

Can you imagine being ditched by someone so they can go and watch Hollyoaks? Everyone likes to think they are more interesting than Hollyoaks but apparently I am not. I think I need to get a personality. Where can I find one?

I have spent a lot of time recently observing people. And ducks. But mostly people. I've come to the conclusion that dogs are most definitely like their owners. There's a slow, doddery old lady who walks her slow, doddery greyhounds every day. I can imagine all of them having been a bit nippy when they were younger. There's a tall, droopy man with long hair who walks his tall, droopy, long-haired dog past my house.
I like to watch the world go by and just occasionally I feel rather proud (rather than despairing, as I usually do) of park users when they stop to do something to make the park a better place. Picking up litter that they didn't leave, clearing a drain of debris, that kind of thing. It's a good feeling to be on the periphery of the world again. I've been apart from it for a long time.

P.S. Put litter in bins, you bastards!
