It's been a long time since I last wrote here. I suppose I've come back because I needed somewhere familiar that isn't one of my usual haunts. I defected to Livejournal because it seemed easier but it's so much more incestuous there! Harder to slip under the radar.

I spent last night with butterflies in my stomach. There's only two people who can make me feel like that and I haven't seen one of them for roughly 8 years. That's the trouble. I like the butterflies but I have a feeling it's not what's good for me. It's ridiculous that when things seem ideal with a person, they're not an ideal situation. It would be good if things were easy once in a while. It's a bit harsh, but the phrase 'if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with' comes to mind.

Still, it's not all angst and whining. Summer is on the way and I've broken out the summer records. Welcome back Pizzicato 5, Beth Orton and All Girl Summer Fun Band!
