Where is everybody?

Today I feel alone. I hear people talking but they're in another room and I feel no desire to join them. They're not the people I crave the company of. I've scoured the internet for evidence of the people who interest me - I've inevitably missed them by half an hour. That's the trouble with the internet; It's beautifully anonymous but on days like this it's frustratingly anonymous.
