Worst day of my life #3

Hmm. Well today would have to rank fairly high on the 'worst days of my life list'.

1. There's a distinct possiblity that my mum could have breast cancer.

2. An old friend is in the process of having her second miscarriage.

3. I have just royally fucked things up with the best friend I've ever had.

So I've come here to hide out for a bit. Surely I'll have to get the hang of life sooner or later? Someone please tell me it works like that? Because I'm not sure floundering around waiting for things to make sense is working all that well for me at the moment.
